Dad wasted no time getting the rest of the exterior lights installed today. I couldn't put it any better than what he wrote in an e-mail: "Your house looks so much better."
I wholeheartedly agree!
Now I'm not quite so sure I agree with his "raised your home value by $5,000" remark, but, hey, it's certainly a step in the right direction!!!

When I look at the pictures, I try to think of what word to use to describe the new look. It gives the home more of an inviting look, I think. That's the word I came up with. The previous fixtures were stale, old, painted, and too formal. These new fixtures are quaint, warm, and inviting! Charming?! I don't know the word! They give it an almost Northeasternly charming feel to the home!
And it was such a simple change! I love them!
